I find podcasts a bit annoying that it takes so long to download a file especially if you have slow internet connection. Anyway, it's good that we can join all the stuff we learnt together like RSS and podcasting etc....try the mashup activity it's fun i'm sure you'll enjoy it! It's easy to become addicted to many things 2.0, I find. The trick is sorting out what will make life easier, faster and more fun!
